Independent Study 2 Approval
1.) I still plan on doing the same thing which is to coach a team for my independent study. Riley and I set up a team called the Bromosapiens and we play for a league called PacRim Sports. The only difference between this and the Fremont team I coached is that I'm also going to be playing and its an adult league but my focus is still on coaching the team.
2.) This relates to my EQ because it still helps me get a better view for my answers and this gives me more experience in coaching. I believe that me being able to play also will be good for me because I believe it will give me a better look and understanding into what needs to be done on the court.

Independent Study 1
1. Fremont Academy- started January 8 Saturday 12-2pm, no practice on Sundays, Mon-Fri 3 pm-5 pm then Saturday-12-2 pm (games started at 2/15 Tuesday, games are always on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-5 pm) practices are now Mon, Wed, Fri, 3-5 pm and Sat. 12-2 pm
I'm sure this is more than 30 hours.
2.
3. Literal
a.) I, Jeremiah Teves, affirm that I have completed my independent component which represents 30 hours of work.
b.) I have completed a whole season of basketball with these kids. Season started at January 8 and ended at March 1. I have helped coach the kids and train them for more than a month and a half and have assisted the other coaches during the 5 games they played in a span of 3 weeks.
Interpretive
There are a lot of significant parts in my component. It has helped me get a better view of my essential question and my three answers. This independent component demonstrates more than 30 hours of work. In this independent component, I am constantly standing up, observing drills and plays, guiding the kids, helping the coaches, and I even coached a couple of the games for quite some time.
Applied
This independent component has helped me really see and define the answers for my EQ. My answers are countering with the right play, earning the team's respect, and constantly scouting the other team. Through this independent study, I have seen my answers constantly being shown during practice and during games. This study has shed some light and have helped me define these answers as to why they are important in becoming a successful basketball coach.
